Welcome to the Sanbukan Dojo Website. This dojo and its head instructor, Mits Yamashita, are
registered members of the International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation. The
Sanbukan Dojo is also home of the Yamashita Aikido Organization.
Yoshinkan Aikido came to the United States over 50 years ago. Sensei Yamashita
tries to stay within the guidelines of this form of Aiki-Jujutsu in his
teachings. Sensei Yamashita also makes available training in ground grappling so
that his students have the ability to defend themselves standing or from the
ground.
