I just received the official Aikido Yoshinkai Foundation Newsletter., where the Hombu Dojo in Japan officially announced to the world about Shihan’s promotion. They even included a couple photos Sensei Toru sent them.

The 2nd High Rank Grading Committee meeting of year 2019 took place on October 6th and resulted in the following promotion.
Mits Yamashita of Sanbukan, USA to 7th Dan
Simultaneously his Shihan title was approved. We offer Yamashita shihan and his students our sincerest congratulations.
