Regular scheduled classes will resume this Tuesday June 16th.
COVID-19 Safety Is Important To Us.
We are working hard to protect the health of our students, while still providing a community to stay connected, study, and grow, and to train at a level that is consistent with scientific guidelines and long-term, sustainable dojo training.
In-dojo interactive training will resume with heightened sanitation and disinfection protocols, masks required off mat, temperature checks, and additional no-contact (distance) training such as weapons.
Adjusted hand-to-hand training will resume with special considerations for interpersonal-transmissibility reduction and heightened disinfecting regimens.
NEW EXPECTATIONS FOR STUDENTS:
We are taking steps to protect your health and safety as much as possible, but ultimately you are responsible for yourself. As such, you will be expected to sign a new waiver prior to any in person training.
Do NOT train if you are feeling ill (regardless of illness)
All uniforms, clothes, weapons and persons must be clean and sanitized before getting on the mat (wipes are available at the dojo)
Maintain social distancing as much as possible when not directly training with a partner
Limit yourself to one training partner per class. Switching partners increases risk
Hand sanitizer will be provided. Use it on your hands and wrists or wash your hands and wrists before starting or resuming your training
NEW DOJO POLICIES:
New waiver required to be signed before training
Temperature will be taken via infrared thermometer upon entry. A temperature of greater than 99.4 will result in being sent home
Parents, spectators and family members are requested to wait outside the dojo, maintain social distancing and to wear masks at all times
Mats and any contact surfaces will be cleaned and or disinfected before and after every class
Maximum 20 students in any one class
We know this is a stressful time for everyone. We’re deeply appreciative of everything you do to keep our community safe and healthy
