Just got off one hell of a flight! Some crazy dude went for the door mid-flight and had the handle half way up before being grabbed by one of the flight attendants. A lady started screaming, and at first I thought it was the movie I was watching! I jumped up and grabbed the Samoan guy (Jonah Tui) sitting near me and told him let’s go! Grabbed the guy and got him calmed down and for some reason the flight attendants felt like they talked him down enough not to need to restrain him properly. Well, he ended up going for the door 3 more times. I finally assisted in taken him to the ground with a well placed thumb in his throat and a well timed sprawl, along with my Samoan brother pushing the dudes neck down. I got to use one of my favorite wrist locks and got him zip tied up! My daughter was crying and the other passengers were frozen with fear. Sad to see how few of the men on board helped out. They should be ashamed of themselves! Scary stuff. So thankful for my Shihan Mits Yamashita and my Guro Dan Inosanto’s years of training!!
